Up goes the mast at Frémont Point
Building the transmitter
As Channel Television’s home was under construction so building at Fremont Point for the transmitting station proceeded. The new control room was installed along with programme input equipment and two parallel operated transmitters. All this equipment was installed, naturally, after the building of the station and mast.
